ETJ Platting Jurisdiction-What is it and what does it mean for my property?

The ETJ Platting Jurisdiction is a defined geographical area that was determined through several public hearings, Planning Commission, and City Council approval. The process was assisted by the Planning District. The area is intended to include areas of potential growth for the City of Custer City. The boundary of this area is subject to updates which will be accompanied by a public hearing. If your property lies within the ETJ Platting Jurisdiction, subdivision, lot combinations, and lot line adjustments must be approved by the City of Custer City. To see if your property is within this boundary, please click on the link below. If you have further questions, please contact City Planner Tessah Behlings at 605-673-4824.
